Actually, I was intending to blog this on our 6-month mark instead but oh well, what the heck right? Coming to our 2nd month anyway.
So, how's life being a MRS like for me?
I'd say nothing much have changed only the fact that I have fully(okay lah, almost fully) moved over to Yishun.
It's great the fact that I actually have my own room(well, technically shared with hubs but I still consider it as mine! Hehe) fully furnished!
Between me and my Husband, a mutual understanding developed since we got married. I never really bought the idea of
"Oh, baru kahwin masih tengah honeymoon period".
Oh Puhh-lease! We had a fair share of arguments at times(and mostly hubs giving in to his princess- like always!) but I'd say, we indeed felt like a unit. We'd do things together most of the times like cooking, cleaning, eating and such. It's such a lovely feeling! Loved that feeling of coming back home from an exhausting day and crawling into the bed next to your Husband and sleep.
Ya'know that feeling where you're so emotionally and physically(figuratively!) attached that it just didn't felt right when he's not around, beside you when you sleep? Yeah, gotta love that.
We make it a point to go over to Tampines once awhile and when I'm having a Super early morning flight the day after or probably when he's away for work.
First month of marriage, I had a hard time swallowing the fact that I'm married and separation anxiety(from my mom). Having a ring on my finger seemed so foreign cos' I rarely wear rings despite having three type of occasion rings(The Everyday, The Engagement &The Wedding Ring) and having to wear rings Everyday to work, with a job scope so physical, I'm just so afraid of scratching the wedding band thus, compromised in wearing my Everyday ring(s)-E V E R Y D A Y.
Ya know' when you're married, you're technically married into the family. I kinda love staying over in Yishun somehow. I have a great Father in law who's very accommodating(treating me like his own, buying me food, offering a ride to work if I ever have a Super early morning flight etc) a Brother in law and also a very active female Bengal(which makes my day a little tormenting because she's Super active and always attacking lol), Kyo, under one roof.
Well, what can I say?
Life's great and I hope it still continue this way. So what's our next plan?
Probably still Travelling the world in our bucket list but as of now, we're taking it slow cos' the house project would due soon and need my financial support before my contract ends.
Not forgetting my 5 honeymoons(babe, don't pretend that you forget!) before we could actually settle down, building our own family. Well, I mean if our rezeki comes earlier that expected I'd be glad to accept them with open arms.
InShaAllah.
Till the next time mofos!
xoxo.
