My dream home, please come to live.

So tough keeping up with an existing blog, can somebody please give me motivation to update every now and then?! Many things have had happened while I was on a hiatus. Like recently, which was yesterday, Nek sam left us for good. This was the first time, I'm seeing Bubs slightly affected eventhough he isn't that close to her but he did look after her while she was over at yishun's place before Johor. May Nek Sam's soul rest in peace.

So back to the topic.
My dream home. We're making this happen, I hope! But one thing's for sure, we wouldn't want to burden ourselves too much because travelling is still ongoing after wedding. hehe

My favourite app right now has got to be Qanvast! Just love everything about it; it  has filter search(budget, style etc),featured homes, articles and also you can get connected with your favourite ID company and ask for quotes!

Once we get our house, the renovation work will only be for the kitchen, living room and our walk-in wardrobe!

The Living Room
Well, picking the right mood/theme for living room is very crucial. It gives your entire home that "facelift". Besides, you'd be coming home everyday, right? Our living room MUST be comfortable. This is our "Go-to" for lazy off days together, cuddling on the couch, catching up on latest movies and series. I foresee us probably bickering everyday for the theme of our living room. Judging Bubs, his preferred theme would be modern, robust, incorporating dark musculine colours like black, grey and teak wood shelving but as for me, I'm more vintage-y victorian-rich with french furnishing. I wouldn't mind compromising a fusion of both though. I'm seeing intense-deep colours fit for royalty with a tinge of victorian feel with modern-twist furnishing! Something like this?

I was scrolling through Qanvast and I squealed when I saw these!

TELL ME WHAT NOT TO LOVE ABOUT THIS!?!! I was kinda shocked that bubs said it's not bad though. I was expecting him to be like "Eee, so girly. So common"

I'm totally sold.

So, what's next?
Ahh...

The Kitchen
I foresee myself using the kitchen quite often. I love cooking but here's the downside, I get a little messy sometimes so a white-washed kitchen is definitely a no-no(even if I'd love to have one). I adore musculine black kitchen and when I meant black, it has to be MATTE BLACK.

I'd definitely need a wet and dry kitchen. A countertop elongating from the wet kitchen is a must, with exterior cabinets at the back! Since I'll be on full-force with baking after the wedding, the kitchen needs a small porch/balcony for my baking room. Have always wanted a Cath Kidston inspired baking room. Yes, a small vintage floral theme baking room tucked at the end of a musculine black kitchen. This is SO me because I kat luar je keras tapi dalam hati ada taman. HAHAHA

The Walk-in Wardrobe
I have successfully justified my need for a walk-in wardrobe to Bubs and he got no choice but to agree with me. hehe

Still deciding whether it'll be better to leave the open concept wardrobe to the interior designs or DIY ourselves. Then again, who wouldn't want to be in this room? It's like heaven! Oh, I'm seeing alot of hacking of walls with our master bedroom!

The Master Bedroom & Guest/Nursery room

These two rooms definitely does not require any interior design mainly because I'm seeing a versatile room, changing every 4/5years or so. As of now, I'm not really picky but would definitely love to have it simple.

Or when we're "baby-planning" ...

Oooo.

So that's about it. As of now, I can only dream about it. Takes a whole lot of effort to make this come to live.

Gonna tuck in bed right now, work resumes tomorrow(later). Can't wait to be greeted by my love at the arrival hall after my flight. hehe

Goodnight folks!

xoxo.
