Kyo The Kitty

So recently about close to two weeks ago, Fik(Bub's bro) bought a kitten. I was pretty much the excited one because I don't own a cat at home so, having a cat at Yishun is something new for me.

Previously, Rioko was sold off to a buyer. Quite saddening though cos' her departure was abrupt, we didn't got a chance to bid goodbye.

Bubs was supposed to chip in for the price of the kitty though, Fik bought it at about $800? One hefty sum for a kitty but quite common for you to be paying a lot more on special breed.

Kyo is a bengal mix Maine Coon(I think), just like Rioko but at this initial stage, she looks like a pure bred bengal!

What not to love her at first sight? But don't let them pussyinboots eyes deceived you. I was already anticipating her bengal nature will show once she has settled down. In fact, I was right!

I was sold when Fik brought her back home. She was shy, so dainty and demure. Not even close to playful but as days passed, we pretty much knew her behaviour.

She is one hyper kitty. She would eat, play(ALOT)and sleep, just like any other young kittens. I was told at this age, it's normal for kitties to be super active.

She would demand us to play with even when we think she have gone overboard. Times that we put her in the cage, she would climb and mew for attention.

I'm a softy, I have a soft spot for kitties. I'd always be telling "Bb, let her out lah. Kesian dia" but as soon as we let her out, she's acting all crazy and playful.

She loves to play. She will get distracted by our moving feet then ready to pounce. If there's a few things I don't fancy about active cats, I'd say I'm very nervous around cats that loves to tackle my feet or even bite. Phobia? Not really, just prefer not to. I'd do well with rabbit bites instead, so long nothing with the legs.

Kyo, on the otherhand fits well with my dislikes about an active cat but I don't blame her. I just blame myself for the little fear that I still have inside. What not? I have never own a cat at home, it might take me awhile to adjust.

I just have to understand that she's a bengal breed, forever active but I'm just hoping for a less active Kyo when she grows up. It's even more scarier once she's all big and still have that hyper in her.

Yes, she's a female. I totally disregard the fact that she's still a cat no matter the gender, they're still active! But I love her though, the house is a little more alive.

"I'm coming to get you!"

Kyo follows bubs where ever he goes. Bubs always have a hard time chasing her away from his room but lesson learnt for us, never to even try to run. She'll think that we're playing with her and chase us. I tried once, horrid. HAHAHA She was too small to be seen, I was tiptoe-ing and she practically chased me and gave that "Tap, I caught you!" with her paw but damn, she's one fast kitty.

Now that I blogged about her, kinda miss her a little though. I wouldn't want to be afraid of her because in due the next few months, I'd be moving in right after the wedding. I'd be tormented living under the house with a kitty that's just so violent. I really feel the need to buy her a cat condo. Her sleeping spot is like under the sofa and when we call her out, she'd be having dust on her whiskers. Yikes!

Can't wait for Bubs to be back tomorrow!! We'd finally be having something proper like seafood spread after his flight! Hoping it'll still happen. Not forgetting some wedding errands day on Saturday! I can't wait.

So till then.
One more working day for me before my off day!! YEZZZZZA

xoxo.
