Currently listening to Daddy blabbering about the whole wedding thing, I'm not even paying attention at all. It is me or my daddy's the one who's excited more than me? He asked me so many questions that I have yet to have answers for those!
So anyways, back to topic. Recently, I (FINALLY) proposed to my MOH. Yes, you know who she is. My lovely chubby sister(which I love to be related by blood but we're not) whom I've known her for about 9 years now! Just a little sad though that I didn't managed to snap any pictures of that day.
The day went by pretty simple though, gave her the envelope and the polka dot box. She was stunned by content of that box and that was the first time she ever received a diamond ring( okay lah, BTB on budget, not really a real diamond though, probably more like zirconia or something?)
As I was telling her roughly about her duties as an MOH, when I mentioned about speech, she remained silent and broke down. Oh my god, I almost wanted to cry too. She said "I've seen you through guys and hardships, the next thing I know you're getting married already. Finally you found The One"
I tried to be the mood-spoiler telling her " Oi, not the time yet! Don't cry now!!!!" But you know lah hor, girls will be girls when you tell them to not do it now, they'll still do it. So anyway, I'm pretty excited to finally embracing 2015, the year of execution.
Currently finishing up on my Bridesmaid Manual (Like extreme liddat but I love collating my research into a powerpoint. What d'ya expect, this happens when you're an ex-RP student!)
I'm just left to print those copies out, put em' in the two files and I'm good to go!
Next up will be my first meeting with the Bridesmaid and MOH which will happen somewhere in the early of January. I'm pretty much excited at how much progress we've made so far.
Reminder to self to keep sourcing out for:
1) Videographer for Solemnization Day and Photographer for Both days (Optional)
2) Cake lady for simple wedding cake
3) Seamstress/Designers for my family's outfit + MOH + 2BMs (Need to go fabric-shopping soon!)
4) Accommodation & Transport for Both Days.
That's all for now! Till the next blog post when I'm inspired to blog, am just tooooo sleepy for now.
xoxo.
