H drove to the airport, fetched me and off we met Chulo(babe's dad) at Lagun Sari!
Agenda for that day was to place a deposit for his side event. Chulo had many questions that needs prompt replies and by the end of the meeting, we finally secured a place over at the restaurant! Tell me who gets the biggest room for the least number of people invited? US.
Oww yes! hehe. Epic moment when placing the deposit, H left his wallet in the car. Bibs have been so careless back to back these few days, thank god I had my cc with me, so I paid on their behalf first.
Chulo wanted to see the room. I did mentioned that I totally loved the deco for this year right? Lemme show you!
They had this "Miss Universe" theme to it.
Here are just a few snippets of 2014's theme at Lagun Sari!
SO SPACIOUS! I don't recall going to my Aunt's wedding(Yes, it was held here as well) and having good feedbacks on Lagun Sari. Yes, I never favour-ed this place at first because the room that my aunt used was a tad too small for the number of guests present but looking at this, I think it'll be good( Provided H's dad doesn't invite more than 1000 guest?) hehe
So right after that, we parted from Chulo and rushed to Sentosa. We supposedly had an appointment at 5pm, obviously we were late. heh
Finally a visit at One Degree 15 Marina at Sentosa Cove! Pretty impressed actually by the view but hell it was difficult to get to the place! We were greeted by one of the young man, casual looking with a t-shirt and bermudas with slippers. I didn't had a good impression at first but once we stepped on the Leopard 51, all else doesn't matter. We had a few questions imposed to them, the way the answered it puts us at ease. We met the captain of the yacht as well, we were really impressed. I even asked for opinions and he gave me a good insights and also his ideas as well. H and I fell in love with this place. We went over to Marina Club at Keppel Bay the other time meeting up with our wedding planner but it doesn't seemed appealing, more of the area I guess? It's just too quiet and secluded where else the one at Sentosa was filled with friendly residences. It was a good vibe.
So within less than 10minutes, we hopped off the yacht. Pretty much skipping away with delight and ready to deposit that bloody lump sum! Hee.
That's about it!
A quickie on our wedding update. On another high note, I've already placed another deposit for another make-up artist for my nikah. Who else if none other than my freelance mak andam, Tity from Stella Anggun! Used her service for my engagement and I couldn't think of anyone else better than her. OH YEY!
Oh, did I mentioned that Cik Sunato from Lagun Sari asked our permission to use our photos for future advertisement purposes? HAHHAHAHA, joke if they'd ever put up our photo on their walls or pamphlets. i kennut imagine, lulz
K dah bye, that's all for now!
Chao.
xx
