A few months back, Bubs and I flew across the border just to get my stuffs for the solemnization gift trays. I choose to DIY instead since we only have 2/3 trays; consisting a ring-bearer, maskahwin and a cake.
We told ourselves that we don't require any gifts from each other this time since we've already had the gift-exchange during our engagement. So, budget was $50 lah kan but I forever exceed budget. What's new?
I didn't have any particular theme in mind when we bought the items, which was tough though.
Along the way, I roughly had a theme for the solemnization, hence, the design below. I'm an amateur when it comes to decoration but I let my not-so-creative mind direct my hands! So be nice okay?
1) The maskahwin Tray
I figuratively made do with whatever I had in sight. This consist of vines which was initially supposed to be used to decorate my wedding cake stand(but since we're doing it combined, a little pointless though), empty box wrapped with construction kraft paper, small wooden box inside the birdcage and a pinboard frame for base.
Level of Completion: 95%
2) The Ring Bearer & Dowry Tray
Level of completion: 98%
3) The Cake Tray/ Stand
Level of completion: 60%
Okay lah tu kan? The simpler the better, I think. So that basically sums up my day.
Time to get some rest before heading to the airport to fetch bubs.
Till then.
