So here we are at KLIA2, I'm taking this chance to blog while waiting for the gate to open.
Yesterday, we reached Kuala Lumpur at about 11 plus in the morning. Took a cab to our designated accomodation for the night, Capri by fraser Bangsar.
Didn't know the existence of Fraser Residences in Malaysia though. We had a swift check-in, everything were smooth going. The moment we entered our room at 2622 level 26, our jaw dropped. Stunned by how spacious the room was!
Literally 60sqm, not the ordinary 30sqm room.
Pano-view of the room, literally sectioned into three parts; The sleeping area, The Open-designed bathroom and the dining area.
Our view from the 26th floor! Amazing how we could here the azan at this level, the night syarahan at night as well.
We took about half and hour to settle in and made our move. First stop was Semua House at Masjid India. The area was pretty dodgy though but we had the intentions of getting our dulang from SinYin. Spent about 1hour to decide on what to get, fickle much! Oh, and we had an epic moment of bubs chasing for the cab cos his phone slipped out from his pocket. Pfft.
All inside the green bag!
Tried looking around for outfits though but not even one is close to getting my attention.
Once we were done, made our way to Pavillion for dinner at Tony Romas!
That mango romarita though 😍
Sedap gila Kickin' Shrimp kicking me to Shrimp heaven instantly!
And the forever shy-boy!
The service there is impeccable. The waiter kept on checking out on us to see of everything's okay. I had a boo-hoo moment and bubs was laughing in my face.
We walked around Pavillion and Fahrenheit then head back cos' we were too tired. So overall, mission is only 50% completed from our itinerary! Boo hoo.
Overall wedding prep completion: 25% only. Bummer.
We reached back the hotel and decide to wander the hotel's vaccinity.
Infinity pool at night, amazing view! We could have swam but it was 15mina before closing and too rushing for us sl we gave it a miss.
The view of "Burj Khalifa" in Malaysia.
The view of night street from the super steep spiral stairs at 33th floor leading to the gym.
....and loving the simplicity of the exterior of the gym!
We were simply too tired to do anything. Went back to the room, blast on the music suddenly the next we knew that we were sleeping!
Missed breakfast the following day. Washed up, packed and made our way to the airport. So that was it! Most probably running some errands alone later while bubs have his rest before his night flight to Sydney.
Honestly, I can't wait to get this over and done with. Super taxing and this is figuratively my 2nd trip to KL for wedding errands. Bila nak habis la?
Until then, xoxo!
