Oh crap? It's actually less than 16 months left before "The Big Day". Honestly speaking, we've procrastinated way too much. Obviously H and I have been idling around, even settling 2 days for the marriage course was tough due to our work schedule. How to get married like that?
Even up till now, there's nothing concrete as in, no updates ever since his dad and relatives came over the other day to "Chope". I'm getting kind of worried. Within that 8 months, we've only managed to secure our bridal outfits for my side's event and the venue. Nothing on his side just yet since his dad is settling it anyways and I need to grab hold of my fiancé for our wedding conversation and errands.
So probably, here's going to be my next move:
1) Settling full balance payment for our bridal outfits for my side's event.
2) Pushing my December leave to the stipulated date and tell my H to get those bloody off days for our marriage course, not forgetting to book the dates as well.
3) Set aside $2.5k for the venue, which of course the rest is up to my dad since he's deciding the number of people he's going to invite.
4) Search more on our preferred honeymoon destination and probably others.
5) Getting a designer in Singapore to make my dream dress come to live.
6) List down all other miscellaneous that I might spend on, e.g my bridal shoes, bouquets, photographers .
7) Find a freelance make-up artist for my solemnization day and night event at the mosque(which I've already had in mind, just need to ask for quotes and availability!)
8) Find a pair of traditional outfit to pair with him for his night event.
So what else did I missed? Dang.
I shall wait after November to go on full-force mood. In the mean time.. I can't wait to celebrate H's birthday at Maldives! Oh yes. Next wedding update, probably on my solemnization outfit.
